THEY CALL HER NONAME
For the Los Angeles-via-Chicago rapper born Fatimah Warner, who goes by the moniker Noname, is one of the most interesting, creative, talented rappers in the hip-hop game right now.
Despite the over saturation of male hip hop artist that threatens to drown out her voice, with her unique blend of intimacy, tongue-twisting vocabulary and intricate production, Noname has broken through the noise and established herself as a tour de force in the scene.
On her acclaimed 2016 mixtape, “Telefone,” Noname established an intimate, intricate style of rapping first heard on key cameos for a number of better-known artists such as Chance the Rapper.
With her recent move to Cali, she brings a whole new perspective to the game now.
